Oh, how wonderful! I love hearing about Anniversaries. :) Thank you for the tips about what to purchase for the future, you have given me some wonderful ideas. Also, I was talking to Mrs. Brookshire today about sewing, and I was wondering if you would be up for coming over to their house and giving me some beginner lessons? Of course after you are back from your trip and fully rested and settled back in! :) And of course I would have to ask them first. ;)
Thanks, Laura! It was nice to have you here to celebrate with us. Our wedding verse continues to be our goal even though we don't reach it as often as we would like to. Except for God's grace we would never reach it!
It is a treat to see this testimony of the Lord's faithfulness. The napkin saved all these years tells that (even back then) they loved and valued the importance of God's Word in their lives. Such a beautiful tribute with the yellow rose. Your photos are gorgeous!
I'm a 31-year-old Christian. My hope is to live a quiet life filled with home and hearth, family and friends, loveliness and simplicity. I'm wife to Douglas (married October 2008) and mother to Edmund (born November 2009), Lavinia (born May 2012), and Rosamund (born February 2014). More...
What a testament to God's grace and your parents' faithfulness! It is so encouraging to see couples that have gone against the cultural tide.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless your parents with a wonderful anniversary!
Blessings,
Shannon
